This is a great posts (that is why I restacked it) and a great reminder that good evidence usually requires a range of information not one single item. Even memorials can be wrong!

This week I'm sharing an article I wrote for the Texas State Genealogical Society's publication Stirpes. Around that time, I had been hearing from many genealogy friends that they—perhaps like many of you—don't know who will take their genealogy research when they are gone.
