🎥 Lights, Camera, RootsTech!
We've got a NEW opportunity for you at RootsTech
During Expo Hall hours at RootsTech 2026, Ride Along Partners are invited to step into one of two complimentary recording booths—perfect for livestreaming or capturing short video content. These cozy, plexiglass-enclosed booths are open to all RootsTech attendees.
FAQs
To be clear, the recording booths are offered to anyone at RootsTech to share a story, record an interview, or preserve an ancestral memory. Myrt will have early access, and has been invited to pull GeneaBloggers and Projectkin folks.
Have a preferred time? Please let Myrt know by noon on Tuesday, 3 March, and she will happily advocate for your Thursday–Saturday recording slot(s) with the RootsTech team. She plans to add as many names to the RootsTech Recording Booths sign up as possible on Tuesday afternoon. She cannot guarantee a specific time spot, but will do her best. Let Myrt know at: https://ridealongpartners.org/recording-booths
Things will be busy, so stop by the RootsTech Recording Booths as early as 8:30am Thursday, 5 March to verify your session(s).
Missed the cutoff? No worries! Swing by our booth at #1600 in Society Hall, and Myrt will do her best to work some scheduling magic on site. We are located directly across from the recording booths.
Want your recording to live on beyond the conference? Visit RideAlongPartners.org to learn how Barbara can feature your video on the website.
