Won’t you join us next week as we welcome our very special guest Barbara@Projectkin
Our guest, Barbara@ProjectKin writes “Genealogy is a team sport. In the decades since the introduction of the web, we've developed an ecosystem connecting our blogs and websites. Technological and political changes, however, have recently affected traffic flows and trust patterns. In response, genealogists are starting to gather on Substack.com, a next-generation blogging platform that promises independence and engagement. This talk will provide a high-level survey of the platform, how it's different, and why it's gaining traction among family historians and genealogists.”
If you are new to Substack, you’ll soon discover Barbara is the “ringleader” at Projectkin, a community of family historians hooked on stories.
After a career in technology startups, Barbara turned her long-time love of family history into a free, platform-independent community that encourages families to tell their stories. Through free events, tools, and articles, community members share creative inspiration, tips, and proven “recipes” for storytelling projects.
This event is a Premium Member benefit. receive the link to join Barbara’s presentation. Notices are sent via email a week before the event, with a reminder 2 days before the event.
